Class Description:
In this course students will learn to identify and describe special oral health problems of clients, how oral health is related to overall health, signs of a healthy/unhealthy mouth, cases of tooth decay and gum disease, dry mouth, special needs of consumers with dentures, best practices for flossing and brushing, denture care and cleaning, other devices that can be used to keep a healthy mouth, and how to gain consumer cooperation.
