Thanks to a large donation from the Lynden community, we were able to purchase this home for $350,000 and open our Pine Street Home in May of 2007. Pine Street Home is licensed to serve six men with various disabilities. The program teaches living skills and acts as a bridge from more structured living to living more independently in the community, such as living in an apartment.
Some activities people are involved with include:
- Playing pool, cards, video games and foosball
- Special Olympic sports
- Weekly bible studies at home and at church
- Sporting events in the community
- Movies and different outings with their friends
