Class Description:

This self-study course for caregivers will teach the fundamental concepts and principles of nurse delegation and the specific delegated tasks, based on the nurse delegation protocols. Topics include: nurse delegation law and your role as an home care aide/NAR/NAC in delegation; client care and the body systems; medication administration; and treatments. This course does not include skills training for the delegated tasks, which will be taught by the delegating nurse. Course materials must be picked up prior to the test, be completed, and returned on the test date.
