Please join us in making Cascade Christian Home accessible to all!
This year, we are inviting you to help us raise $120,000 for much-needed accessibility renovations at our group home, Cascade Christian Home.
Cascade Christian Home currently supports eight adult residents with disabilities in being part of the local community. Half of the home’s current residents now use wheelchairs, and we anticipate that that number will grow as the years go by. We are inviting community support in completing two major accessibility renovation projects that will improve quality of life for group home residents:
Laundry Room Renovations: We need to install wheelchair-accessible counters (for folding laundry), a stainless-steel sink with power hose, and three washer/dryer sets. These upgrades will increase residents’ independence and skills because they will then be able to wheel into the laundry room and fold their own laundry.
Bathroom Renovations: In four bathrooms, we need new counters, mirrors, cabinets, and sinks that people in wheelchairs can reach comfortably. These upgrades will increase residents’ autonomy and skills by enabling them to brush their own teeth and wash their own hands.
Please take a minute to watch our new video (https://bit.ly/cch-fundraiser) that best explains why we need these renovations.
Do you feel moved to partner with us on this initiative? If you do, please consider donating. Thank you for supporting your neighbors with disabilities!
