Valley Love came to Cascade in April of 1991, and has been on a strong road to self-fulfillment ever since. Valley was raised by her late mother and father, who worked as hard as they could to give Valley the life she deserved. Before Cascade, Valley had a limited vocabulary of about four words, and did not seem at all interested in expanding her abilities. As of now, Valley has a word bank of a little more than thirty words and phrases, and that list is growing every day. Valley not only had a limited vocabulary, but also had not held a job before. With the help of Cascade’s Vocational Services, she now works three days a week at two different locations. It has helped her become more comfortable and integrated in the community. Valley is a very joyous woman who loves life, and seems to always see the best in everyday situations.
