Class Description:

Note: This class is for community members only. If you are signing up for Cascade Connections’ staff, please contact the Training Department.

Orientation – 2 hours

Includes; client rights, care setting, care team, characteristics and special needs of the population we serve, basic job responsibilities and expectations, communication, documenting and reporting, mandatory reporting.

Safety – 3 hours

Includes; preventing accidents and injuries to yourself and clients, universal precautions, handling emergencies. Includes 30 minutes for lunch – students need to bring their lunch.
