Service Commitment

Cascade Connections’ Board of Directors holds regular in-person board meetings on a bi-monthly basis. If we need to make decisions between meetings, we may convene more frequently via conference call, Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting, or email. Most board members also serve on one or more of the following 9 committees and subcommittees, each of which meets at least twice per year to fulfill program goals: Accessibility, Belonging and Equity, Advocacy, Ethics, Executive, Finance, Fundraising and Development, Policy and Procedure, Public Relations and Marketing, and Strategic Planning. The board also holds one planning meeting each year. In total, the board estimates a 6-8 hour monthly time commitment (not including travel).
