3-Day CORE Skill Class (August/September 2020: Registration by Permission Only)

This 3-Day CORE Skill Class is ONLY for students who was given a permission by the Training Department.

Class is limited to 5 students to ensure social distancing.

A No-Show/Last-Minute Rescheduling and Late Policy:
A $25 fee will be charged for all no-shows AND last-minute rescheduling request (within 7 days of the class start date). Class Description:

We will be using Division of Developmental Disabilities’ curriculum; this will be used towards the LTC license. This curriculum includes; an overview of developmental disabilities, residential service guidelines and individual services, effective communication, ISP/IISP services, personal care skills and support, nutrition and dietary guidelines, healthcare/health management, medication management, emergency procedures, abuse and neglect, confidentiality, and ISS staff roles/self-care/boundaries/communication. Student must attend each day.

Option 1 – 8/13/20, 8/14/20, 8/15/20 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Option 2 – 8/17/20, 8/18/20, 8/21/20 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Option 3 – 8/31/20, 9/1/20, 9/4/20 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
