Class Description:
In this class students will learn the importance of annual physicals and dental exams, health habits, recognizing signs and symptoms of illness or injury, identify and document changes in a health condition, health care advocacy, preparing and making the most of your professional health care visit, common age related health conditions, legal and ethical response to DNR or POLST, common chronic healthcare conditions (seizures, dysphasia, mental health, diabetes).
