Class Description:
DDA created Peer Coaching (RCW 74.39A.331 On the Job Training and WACs 388-101-3258, 3240, 3302) to help ensure that staff get sufficiently trained to provide high-quality support to individuals. This course provides methods and tools that peer coaches can implement to provide a positive and thorough training experience for new staff. Peer coaches learn how to effectively coach, support, guide, and train.
What can participants expect?
To learn tools and best practices that will help them learn how to be an effective coach, how to support, guide, and train.
During the in-person class, students will be given 6 hours of homework to complete at home. Students will have two weeks to complete the homework online. If you have any questions, please send us an email at [email protected].
